Free Wills During Write a Will Month

November is Write a Will Month – an opportunity to leave your legacy.

Bruno and Pamela Bragoli

When Pamela Bragoli and her husband Bruno started to update their Will, they began thinking of what was near and dear to their hearts. Bruno has a long history with the healthcare industry and St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton. His involvement, combined with Pamela’s gratitude for the role research had and continues to have in her life, made St. Joe’s the perfect beneficiary of their estate. Read more about the Bragoli’s story here.

Charles and Margaret Juravinski

Hamilton philanthropists Charles and Margaret Juravinski will create an endowment of more than $100 million to support researchers across Hamilton Health Sciences, McMaster University and St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton.Their estate gift is one of Canada’s largest ever legacy gifts and will provide up to $5 million a year to the institutions, in perpetuity. Read more about the Juravinski’s legacy gift here.

As a thank you to our loyal supporters, St. Joseph’s Healthcare Foundation has partnered with the Canadian Free Wills Network to enable individuals to have their Will written or updated at no cost through a local lawyer or notary.

While there is no obligation to include St. Joe’s in your Will, one of the most powerful ways for you to give thanks and to leave a lasting legacy is to add St. Joseph’s Healthcare Foundation as a beneficiary of your Will or your estate plans.

We have a limited number of Free Wills that we are offering between now and the end of the year so if you are interested please contact Lisa Gonnering, Manager, Estate & Gift Planning, at 905-522-1155 ext. 35978 or via e-mail at lisa@stjoesfoundation.ca
